Though Bridget was born in Tillamook, Oregon, but soon afternoon her parents moved to Lodi, California, where she spent the early years of her life. Bridget graduated from Lodi High School. She got an associate degree from San Joaquin Delta College. She also has a Master’s Degree in Communications from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
Her television journey started when, on a friend’s advice she went to pose for Playboy magazine. Once she even sent a letter to playboy enquiring how to become a Playmate. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she started by doing some modeling jobs and small acting roles. She tried to get into the Playboy Mansion, but got success only in her third try. But once she was inside the mansion, she soon became a regular and then things were easy for her. After repeatedly visiting Mansion for one year, she was asked to move in thus becoming one of Hefner’s seven girlfriends.
Besides coming on ‘The Girls Next Door‘ she has also been on the cover of the Playboy magazine along with Holly and Kendra. She has also done a movie named ‘Kottentail’. She has also made guest appearances on series like ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’, ‘Entourage’, ‘The Man of The Show’ and ‘The House Bunny’.
Marquardt also appears on one of Hugh Hefner’s playmates in the video game ‘Playboy: The Mansion’, which was released in 2005. She also holds a show on Sirius Radio’s Playboy station by the name ‘Bridget & Wednesday Friday Show’.

Coming down to her future plans, 2009 marks Bridget’s final appearance on the show ‘The Girls Next Door’. She will also be moving out of the Playboy Mansion. She will then be hosting a show named ‘Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches’, a TV series that will air on Travel Channel, and will debut in March 2009.
Having a look at her personal life, Marquardt married her best friend but later the couple decided to separate for good. Bridget told E! News, ‘I married my best friend when I was 23, but when I realized I wanted to move to LA to follow my dreams, we separated and eventually divorced’. She is still friends with her ex-husband. Bridget is currently dating director Nicholas Carpenter.
