The season 5 of The girls next door tv show was premiered on 18 August 2008. This season of the series had twenty episodes in it. The fifth season began with a special episode. In the first episode of the series, Holly, Bridget, Kendra and Hef make an appearance in a Hollywood movie, which is loosely based on life at playboy mansion.
In the next episode, its Hef’s 82nd birthday and the gang goes to Sin City in order to celebrate his birthday. While they are at Sin City they have a blast and Hef gets some very interesting gifts. When they return to Mansion, the girls shower Hef their personal gifts, making Hef extremely happy. In the next episode, the gang is in Arizona for the super bowl and Hef throws a grand party. In the next episode, Bridget is asked to produce a low budget movie. On the other hand it’s Halloween and a great party is thrown at the mansion.
In the next episode, Holly decides to redecorate the playmate house. In yet another episode of the series, its Hef’s 55th anniversary and Holly decides to look for a new playmate for the playboy. She begins her search for the playmate at Mansion and in Chicago. In the next episode too, Holly continues for her search in Dallas and New York. Next in the series, the girls along with Hef attend the 2008 Kentucky Derby.
In the next episode, Holly invites playmates from Hef’s 55th anniversary to the playboy mansion for the photo shoot. In the next episode, they are still preparing for Hef’s 55th anniversary and after a lot of photo shoots, Hef finally chooses Dasha, who will be his playmate for his 55th anniversary party. In the next episode, Kendra organizes a softball game for the playmates. In yet another episode of the series, Hef reveals his entire life to the girls with the help of a scrap book that he has prepared which covers his entire life.
In the next episode, Hef along with the girls pay a visit to Barbi Benton, one of Hef’s former girlfriends, who now lives in Aspen. In the next episode, it’s Bridget’s sister’s 21st birthday and they celebrate it at the Playhouse mansion along with everyone else. The next in the series, one of Bridget’s friends Stacy Burke gets married in Las Vegas and everyone is busy with the marriage. In the next episode, Bridget starts working on the horror movie that she is producing, Holly helps her with the cast and on the other hand Kendra goes shopping for a car.
In the next episode, the girls invite one of the fans to the mansion and celebrate her birthday there. It’s mother’s day and the girls celebrate it by taking their mothers and grandmothers to the spa. In the next episode, the girls go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Next in the series, the girls take some scuba diving lessons at the pool of the mansion and later on they dive off the coast of Catalina Island. In the next episode, Holly directs a photo shoot that takes place at the mansion.
